The Final of the Shelley Cup, to be played next Sunday at Brymbo.will be between Isycoed and Railway Rhos. Both games were played at the same time on adjacent pitches at Johnstown. Isycoed took an early lead through Martin Bennett and Andy Hughes doubled the lead just before the break. The Cunliffe came out better at the start of the second and a Josh Bettley penalty reduced the arrears. An Aran Williams strike then levelled the scores.With extra time looking a possible Lewis Williams then hit a brace to send Isycoed through 4-2.
The Railway Rhos had to come from behind in its 6-3 win over Brymbo Sports Club. Donald McKenna gave them the lead but Lewis Williams responded soon after for the Railway. A Donald McKenna penalty then sent Brymbo in 2-1 up at the interval. A Josh Rush spot kick at the start of the second levelled it again. Tom Freeman then put the Railway ahead for the first time and Drew Wickens doubled the advantage. Although Brymbo did get one back, further strikes from Tom Freeman and Josh Rush saw the Railway through.
