Shelley Cup Final
Railway Rhos 3 v Isycoed 0
The Railway Rhos lifted the Shelley Cup by beating Isycoed 3-0 on a blustery morning at Brymbo. The game was closer than the result indicates. In an end to end encounter Isycoed had the first real scoring chance but their penalty was saved by the Railway's keeper. Josh Rush then netted for the Railway on the half hour mark and this was the score at half time. This score line remained until the eighty second minute when, with Isycoed pressing for an equaliser, Tom Freeman broke away and slotted home. The same player repeated his feat five minutes later for a 3-0 win.
